Crisco has changed

Crisco is no longer hydrogenated cottonseed oil. That would last pretty much forever. I bought some Crisco (the new non transfat formula) and it did NOT stay good after opening. I had it in the cupboard in an air conditioned kitchen and it had a weird smell (not exactly rancid, just odd) so I threw it away. I will stick to coconut oil and olive oil for longe term.
