Hydroponic Growing Indoors

I loved this article and am extremely interested in hydroponic growing indoors; but I also live in New Hampshire and I know it will be hard to maintain 70 degrees during winter months at least. I would be grateful to know how you get around that issue.

I also would be grateful for pointers for nutrient solution and things a beginner like me would need to know. Do you have books or classes or starter kits to offer?
